New places for training courses

As of September 1, several provinces in Spain have wanted to strengthen their training programs for the unemployed with the aim of training and professionally qualifying unemployed workers and thus facilitating their insertion into the labor market. The provinces that offer the best training programs are the following:

– Aragon:  The Departments of Economy and Education will develop training actions for the unemployed with a global budget of 399,733 euros, as approved by the Aragon Governing Council .

– Pamplona:  The Navarra Employment Service offers 1,025 new places for 63 training courses for the unemployed .

– Madrid:  The Madrid City Council will offer paid training courses to 60 young people . They will be of a theoretical-practical nature and will last eight months, in subjects such as Administration, Gardening or Construction, and the remuneration received by the student will range between 690 and 900 euros.

– Oviedo: It will allocate 1.2 million euros to training courses for the unemployed, this aid will benefit 1,436 workers and is subsidized by the Public Employment Service of the Principality of Asturias .

– Santander:  The Santander Development Agency will launch a new theoretical and practical training program aimed at 40 unemployed people from the city with higher education.

– Murcia: The  Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF)  will allocate an expense of 1,500,000 euros to carry out training actions for unemployed people. A total of 6,842 unemployed will benefit from the training, through 459 activities.

The initiative of these provinces aims to cover the qualification needs detected in the labor market and thus promote the personal development of workers, training them to carry out the different professions. In this way, the productivity and competitiveness requirements of companies will also be met .

These training courses are especially aimed at those unemployed people registered in their corresponding local employment offices , which function as intermediaries with the different training centers and, through job counselors, they will be offered those courses that best suit their profile. . The courses offered are very varied: administration, technical services, construction, languages, etc. They can be paid or unpaid and, to access them, it is sometimes necessary to pass a certain selection process and meet certain access requirements.
